We are thrilled to report that Wines of Germany will offer the Riesling Enrichment Program through the Guild again in 2010.

Nice post. I used to overlook the Rheinhessen as well until a few years ago while working in Norway a fellow American Sommelier and Riesling fanatic turned me onto some amazing wines from the region. Weingut Battenfeld-Spanier, Weingut Kühling-Gillot and Gunderloch to name a few. The first 2 being Biodynamic and I think the Gunderloch practices organic methods as well. It truly is an interesting and dynamic region. The people are really nice too. I look forward to my next visit.

Have fun.

You read my mind. I hoped that some of the recipients of the Greece or German Enrichment Scholarships would share their trip experiences with us.

Thank you for your detailed essay. Look forward to Day Two.
